Qaisra Shahraz
Qaisra Shahraz was born in Pakistan and grew up in England. She studied English and Classical Civilization at the University of Manchester, later gaining a masters degree in English and European Literature. She has written plays for radio and the theatre, as well as scripts for television. Her 18-episode drama Tuheen for Pakistan TV was a major hit, and her prize-winning short stories have been published widely in magazines and anthologies.
