Jonathan Trigell was born in 1974 and lived in St Albans and Manchester before moving to France. In 2002 he completed an MA in novel writing at Manchester University. His debut novel, Boy A, was included among the top ten reads for World Book Day 2008, and adapted into a TV drama by Film 4.
