To celebrate national storytelling week Chapel Gallery is facilitating a short story competition inspired by the magical sculptures of Fidlema Massey.

This will coincide with "The Storytellers" exhibition 15th March - 3rd May. Inspired by mythology, folklore and fables Massey invites you into her imagination.

This is a great opportunity to immerse yourself and weave a tale to bring the image alive.


2 Categories - Junior s - under 16 & Adult - over 16

Juniors - Maximum 500 words

1st Prize £50, 2nd £30, 3rd £20 ( vouchers)

Adults - Maximum words 1,000
Entry Fee £15
1st Prize £300, 2nd £150, 3rd £100


Entry Guidelines
The story must be based on the image provided.
Work submitted must be typed using font size 12 and double spaced.
Deadline for entries 16th March 2014 by 5pm
Only those shortlisted with be notified
Payment of fee ( if adult) by cheque, name and address on reverse
