Orbis Quarterly Literary International Journal (Magazine)

Orbis features 84 pages of news, reviews, views, letters, features, prose and lots of poetry. There is also the Readers’ Award of £50 pounds for a piece receiving the most votes. Plus £50 split between four, or more, runners-up. The winning poets are submitted to the Forward Prize.

Subscription is £15 for four copies. Overseas: £20 GBP; 30 Euros or $40; $48 dollars airmail.

Single issue: £4 / £5 GBP; 10 Euros or $12; $14 inc p & p airmail. Where excess postage is due, the letter will be returned.

Submission Policy

Besides poems, and occasionally upbeat doesn’t come amiss, Orbis welcomes prose, in the region of 500 to 1000 words, suggestions for cover artwork and features. The Past Master and Past Mistress section are usually in the region of 500 to 1000 words. Ideas, subjects for discussion, technical, topical etc... in first instance, should be emailed to the editor:

Enclose an SAE with all submissions. Overseas submissions to be sent by email. Response is usually withing 3 months, but may be longer due to volume of mail.
