Born and brought up in Manchester, Andy Wood is a long time resident on Wirral. A lifelong devotee of the canals and inland waterways of Great Britain, he contributes to a number of magazines including “Waterways World”, “Canal & Riverboat”, “Best of British” and the “Wirral Champion Journal”.
